Terms of Service

By creating an account or using EcoWaste, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

EcoWaste is a waste management marketplace connecting customers with certified waste collectors and recyclers in Kenya. You may use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

Customers are responsible for accurately describing waste types and quantities when booking a pickup. Providing false information may result in additional charges or cancellation of service.

Vendors must hold valid licenses required by Kenyan law including NEMA certification where applicable. Vendors are responsible for safe and compliant handling of all waste collected.

Payments are processed via M-Pesa. EcoWaste charges a service fee on each transaction. All fees are displayed before booking confirmation. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

You may not use EcoWaste to dispose of illegal substances, radioactive materials, or any waste prohibited under Kenyan environmental law. Violations will result in immediate account suspension.

EcoWaste acts as an intermediary and is not liable for disputes between customers and vendors. We do not guarantee pickup times or waste valuations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in Kenyan courts.
