From a Problem to a Platform

EcoWaste was born out of frustration. Our founders grew up watching Nairobi neighbourhoods struggle with inconsistent waste collection, uncertified operators, and zero accountability. They decided to build something better.

Today we're Kenya's leading waste management marketplace — connecting thousands of households and businesses with certified, GPS-tracked vendors across 47 counties. We handle the logistics so communities can focus on living well.

2021 Founded in Nairobi, Kenya with 12 vendor partners and a waitlist of 200 households.
2022 Expanded to 5 counties. Launched real-time GPS tracking and eco-products marketplace.
2023 Crossed 10,000 active customers. Won the East Africa Green Business Award.
2024 Nationwide coverage across all 47 counties. 850+ verified vendors on the platform.
